The firmware is flashed right from your browser over USB — no Arduino IDE, drivers or terminal. Requires Chrome, Edge or Opera on a computer.
ESP32-C3 SuperMini board: the BOOT button is to the left of the USB-C port. On other boards it is labeled BOOT or IO9.
Prepare the cableYou need a USB data cable (not a charge-only one). No drivers required — the ESP32-C3 has native USB.
Put the board into flashing modeHold the BOOT button and, while holding it, plug the USB into your computer (or, if already plugged in — hold BOOT and tap RST). Then you can release BOOT.
Click “Install” belowPick the port in the browser dialog (usually “USB JTAG/serial debug unit”) and confirm. Optionally enable full erase (Erase device) — recommended for the first flash.
Wait for it to finishFlashing takes about 2 minutes. Don't unplug the cable. When done, press RST or re-plug the USB.
Run the setup wizardJoin the “Stream2-Setup-XXXX” Wi-Fi hotspot from your phone — a step-by-step wizard opens: Wi-Fi, Stream 2 discovery, EcoFlow account, MQTT. If the page doesn't open automatically, enter 192.168.4.1 in your browser.
The authorization key and all files are already inside the firmware — no extra steps.
Your browser does not support the Web Serial API. Open this page in Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Opera on a computer.
After installation the firmware runs free for 3 days with every feature. Then you'll need a license key — $15, bound to your device.
If something goes wrong
The port doesn't show up.The board is not in flashing mode: repeat step 2 (BOOT held while plugging in USB) or try another cable/USB port.
Port is busy (failed to open).Close other web-flasher tabs, Arduino IDE and serial monitors — only one program can use the port.
Nothing happens after flashing.Press RST or re-plug the USB — the board boots and starts the Stream2-Setup hotspot. Logs are available at 115200 baud.
